Ashti plays self-taught, beginning to make himself known as a solist. He joined Domo Emigrantes in 2012, enriching the formation of colors and atmospheres typical of the Middle Eastern tradition. In the meantime he deepens the study of numerous instruments: tambûir (saz), mandolin, various percussion, duduk, zurna, “marranzanu”. From 2014 he is part of the project “Piccola Banda Rebelde canta De André”, a formation of ten elements in which he plays saz, mandolin and percussion winner of the first prize at the “Risonando De André 2015” festival. In 2015 he also collaborated with Angelo Petraglia and Francesco Forzani, Lodigiani musicians, to give life to “Beja: music, the story, the war”, a project of musical improvisation, born from a personal transposition into music of the experience of war.
